EventMoot vs Rallly
Rallly is an open-source meeting poll: the organizer proposes a few times, shares a link, and everyone votes on the ones they can make. EventMoot is built for groups that play together, with polls for dates and decisions and a page for the decided session. Here is how they differ, and when Rallly is the better pick.

When Rallly is the better choice
- Nobody, organizer included, wants to make an account: Rallly needs none to create or vote on a poll.
- You only need to find a time, and three open polls at once is enough.
- You want open-source software you can self-host.
- You schedule work meetings and want a Zoom, Teams, Webex or Google Meet link added when you pick the time.
When EventMoot fits better
When your group plays together again and again: one link polls the date and the decisions (system, snacks, one-shot or campaign), players answer without an account, and the decided page shows the time in each player's own time zone with a calendar file. See all comparisons.
