Frequently Asked Questions
Only the organizer. Your players answer polls and RSVP without an account, and never pay. Event limits are the organizer's: an Ent organizer's events have no monthly limit, whoever answers them. In a moot, recurring sessions use the moot leader's plan, so one Ent covers every moot that person leads, and the moot's admins can set sessions up on it. A few things are per person: calendar sync syncs your own calendar, and a Discord webhook counts on the plan of whoever adds it.
Yes, at any time from Settings › Profile › Manage Billing, which opens the Stripe customer portal. You keep Ent features until the end of your current billing period.
When you upgrade to Ent for the first time, you get 14 days free to try all features. Checkout asks for a card, but you won't be charged until the trial ends. Cancel any time before then and you pay nothing. Each account can only use the trial once.
If you cancel Ent, or cancel a free trial before it's charged, your account moves to Entling when the period ends. Your events, moots, answers and files stay.
These need Ent again: email invitations to events, post-event survey emails to your attendees (signed-in attendees still get the survey in the app; guests get none), Discord notifications (your webhooks stay set up, and post again once you're back on Ent), connecting a new calendar and creating or changing recurring schedules.
Recurring schedules in moots you own keep making sessions. You and your admins can still skip, move, pause or delete them, but not change or restart them until you're back on Ent. A calendar that's still connected keeps syncing your busy times, so Fill dates still sees them, but decided events are no longer added to it until you're back on Ent.
New events count toward Entling's 5 events per month. Events published earlier in the month count too. Events keep the attendees and polls they already have. New ones are only added within Entling's limits: up to 20 attendees per event and up to 5 polls per event.
Yes! You can switch between billing periods at any time through the billing portal. When switching from monthly to yearly, you'll be credited for any unused time. When switching from yearly to monthly, the change takes effect at your next renewal date.
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) through our secure payment processor, Stripe. We also support payments via digital wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay where available.
We take security seriously:
- All data is encrypted in transit with HTTPS
- Payment processing is handled by Stripe (PCI Level 1 certified)
- We never store credit card information on our servers
